We are thrilled to announce that thanks to your incredible support, we have raised 100% of the funds needed for Bandile's wheelchair! The funds were raised through a national collaborative effort collecting #topsandtags, as well as generous donations from some amazing Sweethearts.
The wheelchair Bandile needs is very specialized and costs a total of R40 146.04. We are grateful to have reached this fundraising milestone in a mere 7 months. The wheelchair will now go into manufacturing, and
we will soon plan an amazing handover ceremony to celebrate this achievement. We will keep you updated on the details and invite those who would like to be present to follow our Johannesburg Sweethearts Facebook page for exact dates, times, and venue information on the
handover.

Meet Bandile, the 13-year-old boy with a heart of gold and an unwavering spirit! Despite living with Cerebral palsy, Bandile refuses to let his disability define him. He's the type of person who radiates kindness, generosity, and curiosity that leaves everyone in awe of him. He dreams of becoming a computer technician and loves soccer. For the last 5 years, Bandile has had access to a motorized wheelchair at school, but weekends and holidays have been emotionally stressful as his family has to move him around. The Sweethearts Foundation is here to help make Bandile's dream of having his own customized wheelchair a reality! We only need another R11,018.12 to reach our target, and we have a fun way to achieve it. Let's raid our cupboards and collect all the tops and tags, drop them in a jar, and deliver them to our closest collection point! It's time for a spring clean, and you can make a difference while doing it. Together, we can help Bandile roll into the future with confidence, joy, and the independence he deserves.
